Group Information

Peer Support and Skill Building Group

Groups provide the benefit of getting together with others who have something in common with you. Though you have your own boat, support groups offer validation that you are not alone in the storm.

Peer support combined with education on various coping skills can help give you the right amount of motivation, practice, and feedback to hone the resources and skills that will benefit you in navigating the storm.

Examples of skills to be taught: brain science, identify and challenge negative thought patterns, relaxation and grounding techniques, responding vs reacting, healthy communication and boundary setting.

Cost for the support group is $50 per session, which is 90 minutes. Support groups are not billable to insurance companies.

Attendance is essential for personal success in any group. If you are accepted into the group we require a credit card to be kept on file which will be charged after each session. You will be charged even if you miss a session to hold your place in the group.

If you decide the group is no longer for you, we require you to notify the group leader a week prior to the next session.
